For a bug, it helps enormously to include your iPhone model, your iOS version, the app version from Profile → About, and what you were doing when it happened. Please do not send screenshots of trades you would rather keep private — a description is enough.
Aftertrade uses your own iCloud account. Sign in to the same Apple Account on both devices with iCloud Drive enabled, and your journal appears on both. Nothing passes through a server belonging to Aftertrade — see the Privacy Policy for the detail.
Check that both devices are signed in to the same Apple Account, that iCloud is enabled for Aftertrade in iOS Settings, and that the device has a network connection. Sync can take a few minutes on first launch. The app's Profile screen reports the current sync state, and it will say so if iCloud is unavailable.
Profile → Privacy, and switch off usage analytics. It is off by default and you are asked once on first launch; nothing is sent unless you allowed it.
To hear the trade you are describing. Speech is turned into text on the device itself and the recording is discarded when you finish. You can also type instead of speaking anywhere voice input is offered.
Voice recognition works against a bundled list of common assets. If your coin was not recognised, search for it by ticker on the instrument screen — the wider catalogue is available there — and the rest of your spoken details still carry over into the draft.
That screen appears when the database on the device cannot be opened, and it deliberately blocks logging so nothing is written somewhere it would be lost. Your existing data has not been deleted. Close the app fully and open it again; if the screen returns, write to the address above before reinstalling, because reinstalling removes the local copy.
Delete individual trades in the app. To remove everything, delete the app — that clears the local copy — and then remove the iCloud copy from iOS Settings under your Apple Account, where Aftertrade appears in the list of apps using iCloud.
